N.I.A. Kids Summer Theater 2022...the year of the documentary! We are super excited to announce that this year the camp will culminate as a filmed theatrical production and documentary! Our goal is to present how our youth can persevere, overcome their fears, step out of their comfort zones, and excel when they are provided with a platform and opportunity to train and grow. Every year our program has a meaningful theme that every participant can take with them beyond our four walls. This year our theme is mental health and self worth.
The N.I.A. Kids Summer Theater program is the perfect place for youth and teens to do productive things with their time and talent during the summer months! Our summer program is an extension of our mission to keep youth & teens occupied and engaged during their free time. The theater camp provides intense training in dance/choreography, acting/drama, and music/vocal technique. Each day the students do a rotation of each performing arts discipline, which culminates into a professional theatrical production.
Since 2009, the N.I.A. Kids Summer Theater program has positively impacted the lives of youth and teens by providing opportunities for them to develop their creativity and talent in a nurturing atmosphere. We look forward to serving and developing every young person in our program.
N.I.A. Kids provides training in the performing arts through dance, vocal, acting, workshops, and theatrical production. Youth and teens in the N.I.A. Kids program receive professional training and development that prepares them for future opportunities in the performing arts industry. N.I.A. Kids programs and classes are suitable for beginners to advanced. Our goal is to provide opportunities for all youth and teens to have access to performing arts training. Through the programs of N.I.A. Kids, youth & teens also learn life lessons of commitment, perseverance, and are challenged to step out of their comfort zones.
AFTER SCHOOL ARTS PROGRAM
The N.I.A. Kids after school arts enrichment program is an extension of our efforts to give youth and teens positive things to do during their free time. We partner with schools and school districts to provide after school programs at their school. Our after school programs include dance, drama, and vocal each day and culminates with a showcase/production at the end of each six weeks. Through our programs we hope to develop positive self-esteem, provide social opportunities, strengthen self-discipline, and encourage self-expression.
