a youth service organization

Welcome!

N.I.A. Kids Youth Service Organization is a non profit youth development organization that provides stimulating, supervised activities, during the after-school hours, which nurture and encourage the development of each youth’s gifts and talents in the performing arts. We welcome and provide age appropriate opportunities for children and youth ages 5 – 18. We target middle and high school students in the southern Dallas County communities to provide positive and productive activities and engagement in the arts during the non school hours.

N.I.A. Kids Youth Service Organization is the parent organization of N.I.A. Kids Center for the Performing Arts. This is a year-round after school performing arts program that provides instructor-led training in music, dance, drama, and theatrical production. The students showcase their talents in a variety of recitals and productions throughout the year. In addition, all of our participants receive academic and emotional support through the tutoring, mentoring, and spiritual guidance programs.

Our “N.I.A.” (a Swahili word meaning “purpose”) is to Nurture, Inspire, and Affirm youth as captured in our motto. We believe every child has a PURPOSE! Through our youth programs, we hope to build self-esteem, self-confidence, and encourage the youth to seek a positive direction in life.

Our program is designed to provide a less expensive alternative so our services are accessible to all children and youth in the community.

NOTE:  N.I.A. Kids programs are administered at minimum cost to the greatest extent possible and some families may meet eligibility requirements for assistance with fees. This is done on a case by case basis and proof of income must be provided.
