N.I.A. Kids Founder and Executive Director, LaTara Thompkins, was selected as one of Ebony magazine’s Unsung Heroes. This is an honor for African-American women who have worked to make a difference in the lives of children, schools, and the community. Mrs. Thompkins was featured in Ebony magazine’s February 2010 subscriber’s issue.
