Our Organization

N.I.A. Kids Youth Service Organization is a non- profit organization created to reach youth and teenagers and to provide quality programs and services that empower them to realize their full potential.  We achieve this through providing performing arts training, arts education, after school and mentoring programs, community outreach, and youth development programs and events.  Our programs serve a minority community with limited access to quality youth programs, performing arts training, and cultural experiences.

The N.I.A. Kids Center for the Performing Arts programs develop the gifts and talents of youth and teens in the performing arts by providing instructor-led training and instruction in dance, drama, piano and vocal.  We produce professional theatrical productions that allow youth to receive professional training and experience quality theater.  We believe in excellence and instill in our students, the importance of consistency and perseverance on their journey to success.

In our quest to develop, train, and empower young artists, we are able to address another concern. N.I.A. Kids addresses the concern and need to provide productive activities for youth and teens during their free time.  Our programs help transform their free time from a threat to their safety and security into opportunities to participate in enriching, life-changing programs.

“N.I.A” (a Swahili word meaning purpose) is to Nurture, Inspire, and Affirm youth as captured in our motto. We believe every child has a PURPOSE! Our programs help to build self-esteem, self-confidence, and encourage the youth to seek a positive direction in life.
